Machine made means tighter joints and slats
which equals more durability. This high-grade
Indonesian teak is harvested directly from teak
plantations which are closely monitored by the
local governments. No over-harvesting is allowed
and a strict re-planting regimen is enforced.
Teak ages to a soft, silvery grey over time. You
can choose to leave the natural patina or you
may revive the original color of your teak with
a gentle sanding and an application of teak oil.
Teak is extremely dense and highly resistant to
swelling, shrinkage, rot and warping.
